Our master’s students can pursue their degrees either as part-time or full-time students. We require all our students to complete their degrees in 5 years or less. The majority of our 2023 graduates completed their degrees in 2 years (86%).

Our master’s students through their preceptorships and networking opportunities provided by the program typically start their careers in new jobs before commencement. The outcome rate for our graduates within 90 days of graduation for 2024 graduates was 83 percent.

Our master’s students through their preceptorships and networking opportunities provided by the program typically start their careers in new jobs before commencement. The rate for placement for our graduates in 2023 was 97 percent.
- 57 percent were employed during MHA program
- 7 percent were employed within 90 day post-graduation
- 4 percent were employed prior to entering the MHA program
- 32 percent were employed after 90 day post-graduation

Graduates obtain positions in both the Chicago market and nationwide in a variety of career sectors. Our 2023 new graduates accepted positions in the following types of healthcare organizations.
- 39 percent of graduates obtained jobs with fellowships.
- 36 percent of graduates obtained jobs with hospitals and health systems.
- 7 percent of graduates obtained jobs in healthcare consulting.
- 4 percent of graduates obtained jobs in an association foundation.
- 4 percent of graduates obtained jobs in other types of healthcare delivery organizations.
- 7 percent of graduates obtained jobs in a MilitaryHealth System or Veterans Health Administration
- 3 percent of graduates obtained jobs in Information Technology/Analytics
