After clinical trials showed male circumcision significantly reduces the risk of acquiring HIV, some experts had cautioned of increased promiscuity or decreased condom use.
The study, led by SPH's Robert Bailey, showed the success of medical circumcision in reducing the risk of men acquiring HIV during heterosexual intercourse.
