This series of maps and analyses focuses on the level of environmental exposures facing schoolchildren in Chicago. Previous sections defined the burdens of school locations near Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) locations and the disproportionate burden shouldered by Latino students.
This new series of maps expands beyond TRI facilities to illuminate a range of industrial burdens schoolchildren face in Chicago, particularly in the southwest side of Chicago.
