Abstract
This study will estimate the prevalence of mental health disorders in a national population of active and former miners in the U.S. and identify those factors most strongly associated with symptomatic distress or symptoms of mental health disorders to inform potential modifiable risk factors. We believe this work will provide valuable insight into the unmet health needs in this vulnerable working population.
