About

Alextia Brann is an Associate Project Manager for CBRE’s Building & Systems Certification team. She works with project management, asset services, and real estate clients on the delivery of Sustainability Consulting Services for rating systems such as LEED, WELL, BREEAM, GRESB and Fitwel.

Prior to joining CBRE, Alextia worked at NSF International in their Health Sciences' group as the lead coordinator for training and education efforts with their Building Water Health Program. Her tasks were aimed at improving the management of waterborne pathogens such as Legionella in water systems and supporting the organization of one of the largest Legionella conferences in North America. She has performed technical assessments of complex water systems, evaluated engineering and process control measures for controlling risk, conducted disease surveillance and developed written recommendations to assist hospitals, health departments, and commercial buildings with Legionella and COVID-19 outbreak mitigation strategies.

Alextia has also worked with NSF's Sustainability team as an Account Manager. She has experience with various standards and clients in industries such as Furniture, Stone, Carpet, Resilient Flooring, Roofing and Wall Covering that sought environmental product declaration verification and product certification.
