Public Health Fellowships

Doctoral students at the School of Public Health are eligible to apply for fellowships with the UIC Cancer Education and Career Development Program, which awards fellowships to students at UIC’s seven health sciences colleges to prepare promising new scholars to conduct research in the critical field of cancer disparities.

Students in the MS in Cancer Epidemiology and PhD in Cancer Epidemiology degree programs are eligible for this fellowship, which create a cadre of cancer research scientists from diverse ethnic backgrounds who carry out successful multidisciplinary breast cancer disparities research focused on closing the gap in breast cancer outcomes.
