UIC Dual Enrollment Course for CPS High School Students

Please use the form below to indicate your interest in enrolling in UIC’s PUBH 100 course, a credit­-earning course on UIC’s campus that will provide an introduction to the field of public health. Note that you must be a CPS 11th or 12th grade student for the 2024-25 academic year to qualify for the course.

UIC is covering the tuition for the course, so there is no cost to students or their families for the PUBH 100 course.

The course will meet on UIC’s campus on Tuesday and Thursday, 2:00 – 3:15 p.m. The course will run January 13 – May 8, 2025.

Through this initiative, students will also come to UIC’s campus on Monday and Wednesday, 2:00-3:15 p.m. for college readiness support programming.

The deadline for completing and submitting the course interest form is December 20, 2024.

    I understand that the UIC dual enrollment program consists of the PUBH 100 course on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as a complementary academic support seminar on Mondays and Wednesdays. The time for both the class and the seminar is 2:00 - 3:15pm. I understand that by signing up for the program I am agreeing to participate in both the class and the seminar.
