About

As a family medicine physician, I have a strong interest in the health and education of communities, especially those with underserved and vulnerable populations. I have extensive experience working in these types of communities. I currently work at a federally qualified health center where I provide medical care to people from various backgrounds. I believe strongly in providing tools to the community to help empower individuals through health education and access to health/dental care. In addition to my formal work experience, I volunteer my time to work with churches and other community organizations to provide health screenings and health education to the community. My interests are in patient-centered care, community engagement, and research which focuses on improved access to care and decreased health care disparities.
