About
Rishi works at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where he leads efforts to improve access to quality primary care for all New Yorkers. His work focuses on health insurance, health care access, immigrant health, and public health and health system emergency preparedness. He has helped lead the NYC Health Department's health systems support work throughout numerous public health emergencies including the COVID-19 pandemic. Rishi teaches courses on immigrant health and health care systems at the City University of New York's Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.
