Veronica Howell, MSPH, CPH, is a PhD student in Community Health Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago. Her research interests broadly relate to aging with the overall goal to improve the health and well-being of older adults. More specifically, she is interested in helping to improve the health and well-being of minoritized populations in the US such as Mexican American older adults. She has particularly taken interest in promoting the cognitive and mental health of this population through equitable and ethical treatment of individuals in research and practice.
