About

Leslie’s background includes program planning, implementation, and management across multiple sectors. Prior to joining UIC Leslie worked as the Manager of Community Solution Development and the PI for the Chicago Health Atlas at City Tech Collaborative. Leslie started her work with the Chicago Health Atlas in 2016 as a Project Coordinator with the Smart Chicago Collaborative at the Chicago Community Trust, where she oversaw the development of the Chicago Health Atlas, Youth Led Tech, Smart Health Centers, and other community-based and special initiatives in the City of Chicago. She was an early member of the Cook County Alliance for Healthy and Active Communities Strategy and Support Team (AHAC) and served on the Southland Human Service Leadership Council in South Suburban Cook County. Leslie holds a BS in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Jackson State University, and a MS in Human Service Administration from Spertus College.
