About
Dolores has over twenty-five years of expertise in the implementation of public health interventions targeting diverse populations, suffering with asthma. First, at the University of Chicago before joining University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She came to UIC to continue and expand her intersectionality work with low socioeconomic communities and communities of color in Englewood and the Westside of Chicago. Dolores brought her pulmonary experience, project management skills, her sense of equity, integrity and her ability to collaborate with disparate organization to the Black Lung Clinics and Black Lung Center of Excellence in 2014. Dolores holds a Master of Arts in Human Services from the University of Illinois Springfield.
