About
Marissa is a Graduate Research Assistant for ChiTracing where she helps support community-based organizations doing contact tracing. She also helps to plan for Earn and Learn opportunities that strive to ensure that contact tracers receive long-term educational and employment benefits.
Marissa received her bachelor’s from Augustana College where she majored in Public Health and minored in Communication Studies and Biology. Currently, she is a second-year master’s candidate at UIC SPH in Health Policy Administration. She began working with the Collaboratory for Health Justice for her Applied Practice Experience in the summer of 2020 in which she did a little bit of everything and worked largely with the UIC Community Engagement COVID-19 Strike Force.
