Hannah Bergman, MPH is a PhD Student in Community Health Sciences and a Research Assistant with the Institute for Health Research and Policy at UIC. Her research interests include investigating the social and structural determinants of health, focusing on stress, trauma, and mental well-being among marginalized youth populations. She has previously worked in the non-profit and government sectors addressing health topics such as tobacco use and cessation, global health, and access to health care. Hannah is passionate about conducting research to develop interventions and inform policy to promote health equity and social justice among youth.
