About
Andrea Pipito is a Research Specialist at the Institute for Health Research and Policy (IHRP) under the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is the Project Manager for UIC’s Sweetened Beverage Tax Evaluation Project. Andrea has a background in the evaluation of nutrition and physical activity policies and interventions. She has extensive knowledge in conducting systematic reviews and understanding evidence from study design to research methods to outcomes. Prior to joining UIC, Andrea worked for the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s Prevention Research Center and Transtria a public health research and consulting company.
Andrea received a Master of Science in Biological Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee, WI.
