WGN TV covers COVID increases in Illinois

Ron Hershow, MD, professor of epidemiology, as interviewed by WGN TV News on the increasing caseload of COVID-19 cases in Chicago and Illinois as vaccinations continue.  He noted that continuing with non-vaccination interventions such as mask usage and social distancing are key as variants continue to spread.

Whenever you’re about five percent, you begin to be concerned because that’s the threshold level the WHO level has indicated a society may be able to reopen.
