Statement of Solidarity with the Muslim Community
We join UIC leadership, the Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change, and others on campus in mourning the victims of the terrorist act in New Zealand, and in condemning the hatred that led to those deaths. We stand in solidarity with Muslim members of our campus community who have been impacted by this tragic event, and pledge to fight against bigotry and hatred wherever we find it.
