Planning for Flu Season During the Pandemic

SPH's Paul Sambanis, PhD '16 and MS '12 in environmental and occupational health sciences and curriculum director of the Emergency Management and Resilience Planning certificate program at the School of Public Health, was featured on Global Insight, a news program on Arirang TV in South Korea, discussing how public health leaders should be planning for flu season amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sambanis' analysis was based on a recent policy brief on COVID-19 data published by the Policy, Practice and Prevention Research Center.

Public health agencies need to identify in advance the vulnerable populations and prioritize mitigation plans to protect them.
