Environmental Justice Efforts in Little Village

SPH's Dr. Sam Dorevitch, professor of environmental and occupational health sciences, was featured on the WNYC's "The United States of Anxiety," looking at environmental justice efforts in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood.  Dorevitch analyzed the effects of a coal power plant demolition in April that sent a cloud of debris and particulate matter through the neighborhood.

It’s really important to know there’s no such thing as a safe level of lead, and there’s no such thing as a safe level of something that causes cancer.
