Dr. Mark Dworkin, professor of epidemiology, was interviewed by Newsy, a U.S.-based news service, on the feasibility of a nationwide shelter-in-place order to combat the surge of COVID-19 infections across the U.S. Dworkin noted the authoritarian nature of the Chinese government, contrasted with the U.S. government's structure, make a nationwide effort unlikely.
