Apply to Certificate Programs

The School offers seven online programs leading to a campus certificate. Students completing certificate course work receive academic credit which may be applied toward a degree program if the student later pursues a degree. Successful completion of a certificate program, however, does not guarantee admission into a degree program at the School of Public Health. The seven certificate programs offered at the UIC School of Public Health are the following:

  • Emergency Management and Resilience Planning Certificate
  • Health Disparities Research Certificate
  • Pharmacoepidemiology Online Certificate
  • Public Health Geographic Information Systems Certificate
  • Public Health Informatics Online Certificate

Students planning to later use credit from a certificate toward a degree program should consult with an advisor to ensure the coursework will count toward the degree they plan to pursue.
