Fanta Waterman is a health services researcher and community health educator investigating economic, clinical and humanistic outcomes related to healthcare access, policy and behavior.
As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago, her work centers leadership, global health, and public health practice within the DrPH Leadership Program. Dr Waterman's research explores Caribbean health in local, regional, and diasporan contexts; women's health; and social entrepreneurship, investigating strategies that empower communities to advance local and regional public health policies that improve outcomes, knowledge sharing and collaborative learning.
Office Hours: Fridays, 10am - 2pm CST, by appointment
