Ms. LaPine is the Senior Director of Legislative and Public Policy at the Michigan Health & Hospital Association. In this role, Ms. LaPine serves as the lead policy representative for small and rural hospital members in Michigan. Prior to joining the MHA, Ms. LaPine worked at the Michigan Public Health Institute leading a portfolio of work specific to public health assessment, planning, and quality improvement. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Master of Public Health, both from Michigan State University. She is a member of the American Public Health Association (APHA), National Rural Health Association (NRHA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and serves as the Secretary-Elect for the Community Health Planning and Planning Development Section with the APHA.
