About

Sheri Cohen serves as the Senior Health Planning Analyst at the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), where she directs the Partnership for Healthy Chicago, a coalition bringing together diverse sectors of the public health system. Through her direction, the Partnership has developed and implemented over five community health assessments and plans. Sheri's areas of expertise include health care system analysis, access to care, community health workers, coalition building and health care issues affecting racial, ethnic and cultural populations.

Prior to her tenure at CDPH, she was program manager for the Community Care Network project at the Health Research and Educational Trust, where she managed and analyzed learnings from community grant recipients building networks of care and Health Education Coordinator at the Cook County Department of Public Health. Sheri received a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas.
