Memorial Service for Dr. Edwin Chen

With sadness, we announce the passing of Dr. Edwin Chen, Professor Emeritus of Biostatistics and one of the founding members of UIC's School of Public Health. Dr. Chen passed away February 28th, 2024, after decades of service to students, the School of Public Health, and the field of biostatistics. To celebrate his remarkable life, we would like to invite you all to a memorial service on April 26th. If you plan to attend, we are requesting an RSVP. During the first part of the program, there will be an opportunity to share words of remembrance. If you would like to be listed on the program, please include a note in your RSVP that indicates your desire to speak. If you cannot attend in person, we invite you to send written remembrances that can be read aloud during the service. After the listed speakers conclude their remarks, we will invite others in attendance to offer additional memories and reflections
