Degree Requirements

The MS in Health Analytics degree requires a minimum of 48 semester hours.

MS in Public Health Core (10 semester hours)

  • EPID 403 – Introduction to Epidemiology: Principles and Methods (3 semester hours)
  • IPHS 520 – Foundations of Public Health(3 semester hours)
  • BSTT 400 – Biostatistics (4 semester hours)

Note:  BSTT 400 is not required for students enrolled in the division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science Courses (8 semester hours)

  • STAT 401 – Introduction to Probability (4 semester hours)
  • STAT 411 – Statistical Theory (4 semester hours)

Epidemiology and Biostatistics Courses (13 semester hours)
