The aim of the Master of Public Health in Public Health Informatics (MPH PHI) and the Public Health Informatics certificate is to produce a new generation of public health professionals capable of playing leadership roles in the advancement of public health related information systems.
The MPH in PHI ia a 45-credit hour degree program, consisting of public health and informatics coursework, a field practicum and a capstone project.
The PHI certificate program can be completed in 17 credit hours.
Applying as a credit non-degree student is an option for students looking to enroll in a single course in the MPH PHI program. Additionally, students who may have missed the deadline for the master’s degree admission may apply as a credit non-degree student with intent to matriculate into the master’s program for the following term.
