Abstract

Illinois Occupational Surveillance Program (IOSP) - Supplemental Project to Support Worker Safety and Health, Safe Return to Work Policies, and Mitigate or Prevent COVID19 outbreak: The purpose of this project is to build on prior work aimed at strengthening occupational surveillance and utilize surveillance data to inform policies for safe return to work, as well as reduce and prevent work-related COVID-19 exposures and outbreaks. The data will be used to identify high risk subgroups of workers and occupations/industries, evaluate the efficacy of public health actions on transmission in the workplace, and inform ongoing prevention strategies for infectious diseases.
