About
Betra Valdes joined the Black lung Program in May 2020 as an Administrative Assistant. She provides comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Director of the Black Lung Program and the department's Staff.
She brings 17 years of experience from a multi-specialty clinic at Northwestern Medicine, including direct work with Pulmonary services. Betra is known for her excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and her commitment to being an outstanding team player.
