About

Michaela Riley is an Applied Practice Experience student working on the Community Partner Database. She is a part-time MPH student in the division of Public Health Informatics at UIC. She also works full-time as a Research Project Manager at Northwestern University’s Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease. Michaela has worked in clinical research for five years with most of her experience dedicated to neurodegenerative and dementia studies. She recently completed UIC’s Interprofessional Approaches to Health Disparities 2020-2021 cohort where she and other UIC students designed and implemented a virtual community-based research project for Lincoln Park Community Services. In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her plants and listening to podcasts.
