About

Jess is a Research Assistant for the Collaboratory for Health Justice and a masters student in the UIC Department of Occupational Therapy. With over 20 years experience in nonprofit organizations such as National Network of Abortion Funds, Chicago Women’s Health Center, and Campaign for Better Health Care, Jess has dedicated her career to increasing access to compassionate health care for communities routinely denied access. Grounded in experience in rethinking health care delivery models, providing direct care as a health worker, and leading strategic operations for nonprofit organizations, she brings a passion for how we provide radical care for all people, as well as the organizations and people that make this care possible.
