Diana Ghebenei

Diana Ghebenei is a Graduate Research Assistant for ChiTracing. She graduated from DePaul University in 2019 with her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health. During her undergraduate career, she gained interests in community health and health equity, and interned with various organizations including the Chicago Department of Public Health and Respiratory Health Association. Now, as a second-year MPH Epidemiology Candidate at the UIC School of Public Health, her primary interests include cancer epidemiology, COVID-19 research, and health disparities. In addition to working as a Graduate Research Assistant for ChiTracing, Diana is currently an intern at Equal Hope where she works on projects related to breast and cervical cancer. As part of her internship, she also works with the Chicagoland COVID Collaborative to help reduce COVID-19 disparities and improve vaccine confidence in communities of color. When she’s not studying or working, Diana enjoys spending her time by participating in student organizations including Radical Public Health (RPH) and serving as the President of Minority Students for the Advancement of Public Health (MSAPH).
