Infection Levels and Plans for Reopening

The Daily Herald analyzed the current rate of infections in northern Illinois in the context of Governor Pritzker's newly released Restore Illinois plan for loosening shelter-in-place restrictions.  SPH's Dr. Mark Dworkin told the Herald the most basic tools of public health are still the key steps for reopening.

Your susceptibility is only as good as the bubble you’re putting around yourself. The wearing of face coverings, good hand hygiene and social distancing is still the most effective way of preventing an individual’s risk.
