Analyzing Chicago Hospital Closures
Dr. Linda Rae Murray, MPH '80, adjunct assistant professor of health policy and administration, was interviewed by ABC 7 News Chicago on hospital closures in city neighborhoods with predominant Black populations. Murray noted that the city may be witnessing only a first round of closures as the pandemic continues.

We should be fighting for universal healthcare for everyone and we should make sure hospitals like Mercy and all hospitals are not out of business just because they are taking care of poor people.
