Are you interested in healthy environments or healthy work? Have you considered a career in environmental or occupational health? UIC’s Division of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences (EOHS) in the School of Public Health works to educate individuals, communities, and organizations about the environment and its hazards. In line with this, one of the focuses of EOHS is to train graduate students (masters and doctoral levels) and will be hosting a monthly express style (30 minutes) virtual fair to educate potential applicants about graduate programs and future careers. On the third Thursday of each month at 12:00 pm CST attendees can login via the link below to learn more about 1) environmental and occupational health, 2)pose questions about the program and application process. The UIC School of Public Health is the only CEPH-accredited school of public health in Illinois, and the division features an Industrial Hygiene concentration accredited by the Applied and Natural Sciences Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org. Completion of this program allows alumni to become a Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP ®) ahead of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP ®) certification and reduces requirements toward the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential.
