On April 2, Spring 2021 graduates will receive a message inviting them to create a personalized slide through MarchingOrder. Graduates will have until April 20 to add a photo and personal message to their slide. Slides will be used for the virtual ceremonies as well as the optional campus level in-person experiences. If you did not receive this email by April 3rd, please check your spam or junk folders before contacting your divisional academic staff for assistance (see contact information below).
Please note, in addition to the MarchingOrder virtual event, SPH will have a supplemental graduation website with additional content for our public health graduates. More information will be made available prior to the May 8 online event.

Graduates are directed to commencement.uic.edu for the most up-to-date and accurate information about these experiences, including information on guest limitations and safety requirements. Questions about the in-person experiences should be directed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
UIC is hosting optional in-person non-traditional experiences that will be non-SPH specific, managed by the campus to allow graduates from all degree levels and colleges to participate in joint celebrations for those who wish to participate. These in-person events will be held May 7-9 at the UIC Dorin Forum located at 725 W. Roosevelt Rd. In addition to Spring 2021 graduates, all Spring 2020, Summer 2020, and Fall 2020 graduates are invited to attend the in-person experiences as well. Due to space limitations, SPH personnel will not be in attendance, some exceptions may apply.
For those wishing to participate in the in-person experiences, caps and gowns (although not required – professional attire can suffice) will be available for purchase from the UIC Bookstore beginning April 5. Items can be purchased in store or online on the Bookstore website, uicbookstore.org. Curbside pickup is available and shipping of in stock items will generally occur within 2 business days.
