The 2018 SPHGives Annual Giving Campaign marks the school's 6th Annual Giving Campaign.  We are pleased to say that this campaign was the first of its kind on the UIC campus and it energizes us to know that so many of our faculty, staff and students participate each year to make this a success!

The UIC School of Public Health is able to continue its mission, and provide the world class education that students come here to receive, because of its generous supporters. Not only do we solve the world’s current public health crises – implementing our research and interventions in the communities in which we live, work, and play – but we also cultivate the future leaders of public health in the process. We, truly, are an exceptional school and a very special institution. The culture of “leadership through service” we find at the UIC School of Public Health is what encourages so many of us to give back, and inspires our alumni and friends do the same.  But when a devoted faculty or staff member makes a personal contribution to the school, it is special because so much of your time and effort already goes to making our school exceptional. Whether you give annually, contribute to an endowment, or have included the school in your estate plan, all gifts truly make a difference!

Employees have the following options when making a donation:

  1. Make a secure gift online by visiting
  2. Contact any member of the Office of Advancement.  We will have donation forms and can answer any questions you might have.

The unit with the highest participation percentage will receive a catered lunch for their team.

Your gift can benefit any of the divisions, funds, or programs and still count towards your unit’s participation rate! By choosing where your gift goes, you help determine what programs or projects you would like to see enhanced. Check out a list of our funds here.

If you have any questions about the campaign, please contact Tamara Josserand, Assistant Dean for Advancement, at or 312-355-4501.
