Developing Your R36 Dissertation Grant Proposal

Speaker: Dr.  Anthony LoSasso, HPA, Jocelyn Wilder, Doctoral Student and AHRQ R36 awardee, Robin Sylvester, SPH ORS

Intended audience: Doctoral students and faculty mentors

The goal of the presentation is to provide doctoral students and potential faculty mentors with strategies and recommendations on how to develop and apply for a dissertation grant from federal agencies such as Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Jocelyn Wilder successfully competed for a dissertation grant (PA-15-318 AHRQ Grants for Health Services Research Dissertation Program (R36)). Dr. Tony LoSasso has been a faculty mentor for several students receiving R36 dissertation grants. Robin Sylvester will describe the logistics of the application process.
