Role Tuesday Volunteers

Key Responsibilities

At School of Public Health 

  • Move signage, banner, folders, materials, tape, etc.
  • Prepare name tags for all registered attendees
  • Setup at SCW, find prep room, leave materials ready for next day

 

Role Greeters/Registration Volunteers                                                                                          .

Key Responsibilities

AT SCW

  • Welcome attendees up through registration and towards main events (Opening, Breakout Sessions, Lunch, PosterPresentations)
  • Assist in helping attendees find their name, booklet, page and SCW questions/directions
  • Assist in registering people who have not registered (sign-in, new badge)
  • Control Information/Registration Desk

 

Room Coordinators Volunteers                                                                                                      .

Key Responsibilities AT SCW

Before session

  • Locate the ROOM COORDINATOR FOLDER
  • Ensure presentations are loaded and equipment is ready.
  • Introduce yourself to presenter(s) and verify their names correctly
  • Ensure signage is correct for the presentation

During session

  • Introduce presenter’s at the beginning of the session
  • Take a headcount of attendees
  • Give Presenter a 5 min alert by 15:00 min mark, Interrupt if necessary to ensure all presenter’s have their time
  • Make sure to begin applause after each presenter, thank them, and ensure Q&A’s are after all presenters, 15 minutes.

After session

  • Make sure to replace water bottles for each presenter.
