Congratulations on your admission to the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) School of Public Health (SPH), and welcome to the SPH family! We are excited about our new incoming class and are eager to meet you at Orientation on Friday, August 19, 2016.

Orientation activities will take place at the UIC School of Public Health building located at 1603 West Taylor Street, Chicago, Illinois 60612. Orientation is extremely important and all new students are strongly encouraged to attend! This is a time for you to meet faculty, staff and fellow students, and to learn all the information you will need to know for a successful experience at UIC SPH.

A list of links to important information and the "My.UIC" portal are provided below. Please be sure to carefully review the New Student Checklist which contains a list of tasks you should complete before classes begin.

If possible, you should obtain your UIC Identification (I-Card) prior to Orientation. UIC I-Cards are mandatory for current students. If you are unable to obtain your I-Card before orientation, you can take care of this on the first day of class. To get your UIC I-Card, please follow the directions in the New Student Checklist linked below. You will need a printout of your fall registration and a photo ID in order to obtain your I-Card.

Orientation schedules for Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral program are provided below. When you arrive on the day of orientation, SPH academic staff will greet and direct you as appropriate.

Questions? If you have any questions regarding Orientation, or if you cannot attend, please contact Brandon Sieglaff, Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruitment at sieglaff@uic.edu.
