Welcome to the UIC Center for Employee Health Studies

Established in 2012, the UIC Center for Employee Health Studies (CEHS) is administered through the School of Public Health. CEHS partners with faculty researchers to examine complex organizational policies and behavioral influences to:

  1. improve the health of employees and their dependents,
  2. increase employee engagement, and
  3. maximize productivity.

 

OUR MISSION

CEHS innovates and influences the health, health care and productivity of employees and their dependents.

OUR VISION

CEHS researches policies and programs that promote and influence behavior to improve health, increase engagement and maximize productivity.  CEHS collaborates with employers, payors, providers, foundations, public agencies and other key stakeholders to impact population health and cost.

To achieve this mission, CEHS organizes its research and services into five areas:

EMPLOYEE & ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH & PRODUCTIVITY
